“The key to realizing a dream is to focus not on success but significance and then even the small steps and little victories along your path will take on greater meaning.”
– Oprah Winfrey
So here I am going to discuss a theory of dreams of a big dreamy girl and that is me – Kavita Dhaked.
When I was a student My dream was just to become a successful independent girl and to have all the luxuries on my own and those were the days when I was just aware of the fact that something named as “DREAMS” exist in this world so I just saw a dream but I did not even think about how will I complete this dream.
With passes of time I realized that only having any dream in your life does not works unless you make it your wish or goal and works towards it to accomplish. Let me refer a quote here which defines this situation-
“A dream is a wish your heart makes”
After that I realized that dream is not something which will complete in a day, it is long process and each action which is needed to take your dream to its destination needs planning in a proper manner because each action have its own consequences. Once your dream becomes your goal then it will not let you sleep unless you accomplish it.
Again I realized that it is not easy to live your dream because even a step which will lead to accomplishment of your dream itself becomes a dream unless you start. So just “START” in the best way you can with what you have. Someone rightly said that-
“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”
So after completing my 12th standard I took my first step towards my dream by deciding to have my higher studies and I chose to be a chartered Accountant (CA). I started doing CA thinking it will be a starting step to complete the journey of my dream but I did not know when having prefix “CA” before my name itself became my dream. I worked so hard and it took my sleepless days and nights to accomplish. There were so many thoughts that were going around in my mind and heart when I was on this journey like what if I got failure, sometimes there comes situations when i felt like I can’t do this I lost all my hopes when I got failure during this journey.
At that time I felt that now it’s not only a dream, it became my emotion, my goal and a reason to live so one day I just woke up and speak up to myself whatever hurdles I will get during this journey I will face those hurdles, all the failures but I will not give up on my dreams and I will give my everything to accomplish my goal my dream then I just rise up again and started working hard and then there was a day when I got prefix “CA” before my name and my name changed to –
“CA Kavita Dhaked”
It was the best feeling ever and best day of my life, so like this I lived my dream. Now I can say-
“I dreamed it, I wished it, I made it my emotion, and I did it and now I am living it”
Are you living your dream?
