DON’T LET YOUR EMOTIONS DISTRACT YOU

“Your emotions make you human. Even the unpleasant ones have a purpose. Don’t lock them away. If you ignore them, they just get louder and angrier.”                                        ― Sabaa Tahir

We all feel several kind of emotions during our day to day life such as sadness, happiness, regretted, frustrated, anger, falling in love, being cheated, dominated by someone and so many. Our life is mixture of lots of emotions that we feel at some point of time in our life. In today’s world what I feel is that everyone is facing some sort of emotional issues in their life. There are peoples who get out of their emotions easily, they know how to control them and there are lot so other people who are just facing and getting dominated by their emotions and allowing their emotions to ruin their own life and making it difficult to feel happiness around there and live their life.

Having emotions and feeling each and every moment of our life is not a mistake, we all should have emotions and feelings in life because we are humans and our emotions makes us human. A man without emotions is not a human it is a body who is living for any purpose and those kinds of humans do not care about others feelings and emotions. I just want to say that let your emotions comes out, do not be afraid of what others will think about you, cry out loud, if needed, it is a sign of strong peoples who know how to show their emotions in front of peoples. Do not lock your emotions because if you will lock your emotions, it will just get louder and angrier which will become toxic to your mental health and will lead you to a destructive path which will ruin your life. Someone rightly said that-

“Don’t be ashamed to weep; its right to grieve. Tears are only water, and flowers, trees, and fruit cannot grow without water. But there must be sunlight also. A wounded heart will heal in time, and when it does, the memory and love of our lost ones is sealed inside to comfort us.”                                       ― Brian Jacques

It is not bad to have emotions and feelings but allowing emotions to control you becomes toxic. Make yourself so strong that emotions itself heals you and make that emotion, which is killing you inside, your reason to get out of it and stand up as a more strong human. It’s good to face these situation, these situations makes us stronger and gives us power to have more strong decisions in life. There are peoples who don’t feel too much as they care about themselves, they know that if they will give attention to their emotions then it will become the reason of their sadness and frustration, so they prefer to be selfish and decides to not feel too much and keep themselves away from emotions and nothing is bad in it because they are worried about their mental health, about their life, so they chose to control their emotions instead of giving power to emotions to control them. It is rightly said that-

“Life is a comedy to those who think a tragedy to those who feel.”                                                                                 ― Jean Racine

Surround yourself with happy and good energy and start doing whatever you like and love to do and keep toxic peoples and emotions away from you. Start controlling your emotions and whenever needed go and share your fears and emotions which are killing you inside to your family members and your closed ones and restrict yourself from being depressed. Be selfish when required and nothing is bad in being selfish for yourself.

“I don’t want to be at the mercy of my emotions. I want to use them, to enjoy them, and to dominate them.”
